U.S. auto sales are expected to nose-dive in Sept 2021, driving purchases of new vehicles down in the third quarter by at least 13% as the chip shortage continues to disrupt production. Forecasts from Cox Automotive, Edmunds and J.D. Intel has unveiled its Loihi 2, the second generation of a processor family that marries conventional electronics with the architecture of human brains. Samsung will reportedly procure batteries for the upcoming Galaxy S22 smartphones series from both China’s Amperex Technology Limited (ATL) and Samsung SDI.
